About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee the construction of a large-scale Photovoltaic (PV) power plant .

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising all electrical and technical aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and quality assurance of electrical systems for the PV plant.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure adherence to design and technical specifications .
  • Coordinate with project managers, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct on-site inspections, risk assessments, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Review and approve electrical drawings, schematics, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project progress and provide reports on milestones, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and grid connection of the PV plant.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on renewable energy or large-scale power projects .
  • Proven experience in solar PV plant construction, grid connections, and high-voltage systems .
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices .
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and project specifications .
  • Ability to work on-site in demanding environments and travel as required.
  • Fluent in French and English
